On Sale dates for the 2004 NCAA regionals were announced today. All regional tickets are being sold as a three-game package from the first sale date at each site through March 22, 2004. If any of the four sites are not sold out by March 22, tickets will be available for individual sessions at an increased ticket price.
The NCAA also announced that any person buying tickets on the first day regional they go on sale will have the opportunity to win two tickets to the 2004 Men’s Frozen Four in Boston. Each region will award a pair of tickets to a person who is randomly selected from people who purchased tickets through the Internet, in-person or by phone.
Tickets for the East regional at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, N.Y. will go on sale at noon (ET) Oct. 11. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the Pepsi Arena box office or by calling (518) 476-1000. Start times for the first-round games March 26, are 5 and 8:30 p.m. (ET), while the regional final is March 27 at 6 p.m. Tickets for the three-game package are $64.
Northeast regional tickets for the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. will go on sale Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. (ET). Tickets can be purchased by calling (603) 868-7300, or by stopping by the Verizon Wireless Arena box office or the Whittemore Center Arena box office on the UNH campus. Start times for the first-round games March 27 are noon and 3:30 p.m. (ET), while the regional final is March 28 at 4 p.m. Tickets for the three-game package are $62.
The Midwest regional at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. will have tickets on sale starting at noon (ET) Oct. 3. First-round games are noon and 3:30 p.m. (ET) March 27, while the regional final is 1 p.m. on March 28. Tickets for the three-game package are $60, and can be obtained by calling (616) 456-3333 or by stopping by the Van Andel Arena box office.
Tickets for the West regional at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo. will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. (MT) Oct. 3. The first-round contests are 5:30 and 9 p.m. (MT) March 26, while the regional final is March 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in three-game packages ($60 for the upper level and $75 for the lower bowl) by calling (719) 576-2626 or at the World Arena box office, Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (MT).
If any of the host institutions are selected to participate in the 2004 NCAA tournament, they will be assigned to their host site. Links for ordering tickets online for all regionals are available through www.ncaasports.com. Times for all regional contests are subject to change.
The 2004 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four, April 8 and 10, at the FleetCenter in Boston is sold out. It marks the seventh time in the last eight years that the Men’s Frozen Four has been sold out.
