Power Outage Suspends Minnesota State-Wisconsin Game

Game To Be Resumed Saturday

— A power outage in the Kohl Center during the game between Minnesota State and Wisconsin led to the suspension of the contest with 5:08 remaining.

The game will be resumed at 7:05 Saturday night, followed by the second game of the series between the two teams. Wisconsin leads the suspended game, 3-1.

The power outage was part of a larger blackout on campus in Madison.

The Kohl Center lost power at 9:08 p.m., and the teams were sent to their locker rooms at 9:22. Two minutes later, the crowd in attendance was notified that the game had been suspended.

Power to the arena was restored at 9:40 p.m.
