College Hockey:
Fan Voting For Frozen Four Skills Challenge Under Way

The NCAA announced that voting for the players in the 2007 Pontiac Frozen Four Skills Challenge began Friday online at www.NCAASports.com and will run until February 12.

Fans will be able to select six position players and two goalies for each gender of the East team and each gender of the West team. The original list of 189 players was trimmed to 88 by the selection committee.

Fans can vote for their favorites among the 88 players, which are vying for the 16 spots on each team. The selection committee will take all voting into consideration prior to making its announcement of the final rosters mid-February.

The Pontiac Frozen Four Skills Challenge will be held April 6 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis and will highlight the “Friday Night at the Frozen Four.”

The night will also include the presentation of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, the Hockey Humanitarian Award and the announcement of the American Hockey Coaches Association All-American teams.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, February 3 by visiting the Scottrade Center box office, calling Ticketmaster at 314-281-1888, or by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com.
