Structural Damage at Yost Forces Postponement of Friday’s Miami-Michigan Game

Rescheduled for Sunday, January 11

Fridays contest between Michigan and Miami at Yost arena has been postponed and rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m.

According to Michigans athletic department, Yost Ice Arena suffered weather-related damage during the recent snow and wind storms over the holidays. The school is working with independent structural engineers to make repairs.

We apologize for this inconvenience, but the safety of our fans is of the utmost importance, said Executive Associate Athletic Director Mike Stevenson.

Tickets from Fridays game will be honored at Sundays rescheduled contest. Refunds will be given to ticket holders who are unable to attend the postponed game. Further information will be released by the athletic department regarding the refund procedure.
