College Hockey:
Former Brown Player Joins College Hockey Inc.

Former Brown player Kevin Lovitt is joining College Hockey Inc. as its senior director of business affairs.

Lovitt, who played for the Bears from 1977 to 1981, was the director of corporate sponsorship for the National Hockey League Players Association, working alongside CHI executive director Paul Kelly.

“I am confident that he is the right guy to help me in our efforts to craft new special events and raise the profile of college hockey,” Kelly said in a news release.

College Hockey Inc. was formed last year by the Hockey Commissioners Association to help NCAA hockey compete with Canadian major juniors and the professional ranks.
