College Hockey:Schoedel named new assistant with Brown women
Lucy Schoedel has been named the new assistant coach for the Brown women’s team.
Schoedel, a former player at New Hampshire and Syracuse, spent the 2010-11 season as an assistant coach at Wesleyan University.
“I am thrilled to have Lucy join our staff,” Brown head coach Amy Borbeau said in a news release. “She is young, but she has a passion for the game and energy for coaching. Her experience in working with goaltenders will add depth to our coaching staff.”
Graduating from Syracuse in 2010, Schoedel was a two-time nominee for the Patty Kazmaier Award and played in the Frozen Four with UNH in 2008.
