College Hockey:Lake Superior State’s Perrault suspended one game by CCHA
The CCHA announced Thursday that Lake Superior State sophomore defenseman Andrew Perrault has been suspended for one game as the result of an incident that occurred in a game against Michigan on Jan. 7.
The action was taken by the league after a review of an incident that occurred near the 19:08 mark of the second period that showed Perrault delivering an illegal hit to the head of a Michigan player.
No penalty was called on the play.
Perrault is ineligible to play in LSSU’s game on Jan. 13 against Miami. He is eligible to return to the lineup on Jan. 14.
