College Hockey:
Norwich the new No. 1 team in D-III women’s poll

After spending every week since Nov. 1 at the No. 2 spot in the USCHO.com Division III Women’s Poll, Norwich jumped back on top after earning nine of 15 first-place votes this week.

RIT (three first-place votes) drops to No. 2, while Elmira holds steady at No. 3 and was listed No. 1 on two ballots.

Middlebury stays fourth.

Gustavus Adolphus is again fifth and garnered the other first-place vote.

Plattsburgh moves from eighth to sixth, Amherst falls one to No. 7, Wisconsin-River Falls is down one spot to eighth in the poll.

Concordia (Minn.) is ninth this week, flip-flopping with Wisconsin-Superior.
