College Hockey:
Former RIT goalie DeMichiel named new assistant at Nazareth

Jared DeMichiel, former goaltending standout at RIT, has been named an assistant coach at Nazareth College for the Golden Flyers’ first year of Division III play next season.

DeMichiel, who will assist Nazareth head coach George Roll, is currently an assistant with the RIT women’s team.

He graduated from RIT in 2010 was the Tigers’ starting goalie during their run to the Frozen Four during the 2009-10 season.

Nazareth is scheduled to begin play in October as a member of the ECAC West.
