College Hockey:
Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award finalists announced

Ten finalists were announced Wednesday for the 2012 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.

The full list is below.

The finalists were chosen by a media committee from the list of 20 candidates announced in October.

Nationwide fan voting begins immediately to determine the winner. Fans are encouraged to vote on either the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award website or the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award Facebook fan page through March 18.

Fan votes will be combined with media and Division I head coaches’ votes to determine the winner, which will be announced in April at the Frozen Four in Tampa.

Riechard started his own program for kids with cancer…

Playing for the Sue is an automatic 10 point deduction in the class department.

          2013 can’t come soon enough for me…

Eidsness belongs, but the competition part (for this year) doesn’t really meet it. Had he been starting all year, he definitely belongs.

Got to love Jack Connolly for this . No player has done more for his team than him

I watched a 10 year old kid ask Eidsness for an autograph and Eidsness told him to, “Go Away”

That self-embarrassing poster engages in rumor and innuendo (review his/her previous posts).  When one doesn’t have facts to back up arguments one creates those hoping no one catches them.  Unless one can back up allegations be prepared to be called out:  LIAR…

Honestly, why would someone make that up, and Dell played better anyways.

          • nogofer

I can’t explain the poster’s false accusation, but I point out fallacy when I see those.  Your point is valid, however:  Why would the poster make an accusation if for no other reason than to foster hatred of THE FIGHTING SIOUX?

          • WcHa HoCkEy

True, Eidsness wasn’t even brought into the conversation yet.

          • nogofer

Your love of mn hockey is admirable, but we don’t understand your hatred of The Fighting Sioux…

    • Gophers > UND

Honestly, most people wouldn’t doubt it. Except the clueless few from the West sides of the Forks.

      • nogofer

Again you are demonstrably wrong:  The petition will be submitted today.  THE FIGHTING SIOUX is soon to be the law of the land…  And I must ask why everything you post is so negative regarding UND and it’s fans?

        • WcHa HoCkEy

I heard Force from the North. But what do I know. Also, you are against anyone who is not a hardcore UND fan and you don’t accept the reality that he might have said that, it happens alot with many different people.
