College Hockey:
Dries facing suspension by Ohio State for violation of team rules

While no official word has been released by the school, Ohio State senior Danny Dries, the Buckeyes’ second-leading scorer, is facing an indefinite suspension for a violation of team rules.

Ohio State coach Mark Osiecki acknowledged the impending suspension to BuckeyeSports.com last Saturday night.

Dries has 12 goals and 21 points in 26 games this season for OSU.

Problems were part of the package for this kid.  Got kicked off UNH a few years ago for pullin stunts like this.

didnt i read somewhere that he had a big drinking problem at unh and that is what got him dismissed?

It’s unfortunate that he didn’t learn.  The kid has the ability and the toughness to play at the next level and he has thrown it away twice!  Always loved having Dries in a UNH uniform, he brought so much to the team.
