    I nominate Bruce Mclood.

Mr Hagwell can take over for Bruce in the WCHA.

Go home you yooper. Lead the New WCHA. So you can move the New WCHA offices to Houghton on MTUs campus where they belong. You can have a office next to Coach Pearson with the MacNaughton Cup sitting in the trophy case.

    • B.D.

Why would anyone move anything to Houghton? The trafficability and Lines of communicaitons issues alone votes against such.
You might was well move them to Warroad.

  • YooperHockey

Communications can’t be that bad they have two universities within three minutes of each other and an airport five minutes up the road.

The air force had an airbase in the Houghton area at one time.

Also you can’t forget Houghton is the birthplace of Pro Hockey.

Hoghton will be the heart of the future WCHA.

    • B.D.

By lines of communication we mean the ease of access. Rail, road, highway etc.
Houghton is sadly just on the road to no where when that is taken into account.
Regarding the birthplace of pro-hockey – that is meaningless is regards to this topic – you might as well said that it had a really great sandwich shop.

  • Yooper Hofkey

Great now you are saying Houghton in the road to no where.

Houghton wold be the most centrally located team in the WCHA for the 2013-2014 season.

I heard the NCHC is stealing the Bruce Mcleod trophy from College Hockey America, how sweet that is. What great way to honer a Commish who will be leaving the WCHA after the meeting in ,Detroit.

By the way welcome UAH Chargers to the future WCHA.

    Now we have ten.

I hope the NCHC enjoys their new Bruce MCleod trophy.Good thing it was available for the league that loves him.

As for the nWCHA offices they should either be in Madison or Houghton and offer the job the job to Fred Platesh.

The WCHA will have ten, néw commish, and a new home base after next weekend how sweet.
