College Hockey:
Wisconsin-River Falls favored in NCHA women’s preseason poll

Four different teams received first-place votes, but Wisconsin-River Falls was named the top team in the NCHA women’s preseason coaches’ poll.

Six of the top seven leading scorers from a year ago return to their respective schools, including 2012 player of the year Dani Schultz from Wisconsin-Superior.

Wisconsin-Superior, Adrian and St. Scholastica also garnered first-place votes from the league coaches.
