College Hockey:
Water main break postpones Mercyhurst-Canisius game until Jan. 29

The first game in this weekend’s Canisius-Mercyhurst home-and-home series scheduled to start Friday at Mercyhurst has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7:05 p.m. due to a water main break in the city of Erie.

The incident has also caused the Mercyhurst campus to be closed through the weekend.

The two schools will still play their game at Canisius on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.

Mercyhurst’s two women’s games against Lindenwood this weekend have been relocated. Friday’s game will be played at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena in Jamestown, N.Y., still at 3 p.m. Saturday’s game will take place at 2 p.m. at the Erie Insurance Arena in downtown Erie.
