Merrimack senior forward Bates removed from Warriors’ roster

According to The Mack Report, Merrimack senior forward Shawn Bates is no longer with the Warriors’ program.

Bates was removed from Merrimack’s roster prior to last Friday night’s game between Merrimack and Boston University.

An email from USCHO.com to Merrimack seeking comment was not returned.

Bates was pointless in 10 games this year and had eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 32 games last season.

In 104 career games with the Warriors, Bates recorded 46 points on 19  goals and 27 helpers.
