The current selection process seems to work against goalies and D-men. Granted I am biased as a BU fan, but Matt Gilroy is the closest thing to the ideals of Hobey Baker in quite a few years. Forget the scoring stats - Gilroy was consistently the best player in Hockey East all year. Theissen was MVP as now way NU makes the NCAA without him, but Gilroy should be the favorite for the Hobey.
