Update on North Dakota’s Nelson

North Dakota’s Brock Nelson, who left Thursday’s semifinal loss to Michigan on a stretcher after going into the boards back-first, has a fracture in his tail bone and an inguinal sprain, the Grand Forks Herald reported.

That injury requires six to eight weeks of recovery time, the newspaper reported.

He’s lucky. He was scooting along pretty good. I was worried it might be worse than this. It was a good clean hit, he was just exposed after taking the shot. Nelson had a rough tournament. He played well against Denver but took some brutal hits.
