History of the CHA

by Kurt Stutt/special to USCHO

College Hockey America was formed in 1999 with Air Force, Army, Alabama-Huntsville, Bemidji State, Findlay and Niagara as charter members. Wayne State was also a charter member that began conference play in 2000.

Army announced in early 2000 that it would leave for the MAAC that fall.

Kurt Stutt maintains the College Hockey Historical Archives. See the CHHA for in-depth college hockey archival information.
