College Hockey:
SUNYAC picks: Nov. 9

Today starts my SUNYAC picks for the season, which means I am batting 1.000 so far at 0-0-0. We’ll see how I do after the weekend.

Friday, November 9

Buffalo State at Plattsburgh
The Bengals play sound defense, but Plattsburgh is a goal better (plus maybe an empty netter). Plattsburgh 4- 2

Fredonia at Potsdam
Never a dull moment with the Bears, who score at a SUNYAC-best six goals a game clip. They also serve up a league-worst 5.50 per game. Fredonia has scoring issues of its own, meaning the Bears should prevail. Potsdam 6-4

Saturday, November 10

Cortland at Morrisville
Both teams enter the weekend winless, but both have played well enough to compete in, if not win, each of their games. The Mustangs get the home ice edge. Morrisville 2-1
