The Swedes defeated the Finns 3-1 in the consolation game while the US defeated Canada 3-2 (shootout) to win the tournament.

Four Nations Cup - Under 18s Consolation and Final

Sweden defeated the Suisse 3-1 while the US defeated the Finns 3-2 to win the tournament.

U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Ceremony

Photos from the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Denver, Colo., on October 10, 2008. Four former college hockey greats, Cammi Granato, who played for Providence, Brian Leetch, who played for Boston College, Mike Richter, who played for Wisconsin, and Brett Hull, who played for Minnesota-Duluth, were honored.

2008 Ice Breaker Final and Consolation games hosted by BU

UMass defeated North Dakota 3-2 in the consolation game while Boston University defeated Michigan State 2-1 to win the tournament in their home rink, Agganis Arena.

2008 Summer Hockey Challenge - Monday, 8/4

53 players invited to camp for the US - 36 currently or projected to play college hockey. The school name following a player's name is his current team or the team that he has in some manner indicated that he will join. Michigan and Minnesota had the most participants with six each. Of those playing major junior - 10 play in the OHL (2 each from London and Plymouth) and 6 in the WHL including 3 from the Memorial Cup Champion Spokane Chiefs. In addition, Gustav Nyquist (Sweden) will play for Maine. 40 of the US participants have already been drafted while an additional 15 challenge participants from Sweden and Finland have been. Eight first round picks from 2007 - James van Riemsdyk the highest (second overall) and seven first round picks from 2008 - Zach Bogosian the highest overall (third) and Colin Wilson the highest among college players (seventh).

2008 Summer Hockey Challenge - Friday, 8/8

US Team White was defeated by Sweden 3-7 while US Team Blue was defeated by Finland in overtime 4-5 in the only games held in the 1980 Rink. The WJC will be held in Canada this year on NHL-sized ice.

Team USA spent the morning at the Olympic Training Center facility getting height/weight/etc. measured as well as being tested on pullups and vertical jumps.

The 2006 NCAA Midwest Regional provided plenty of exciting action for everyone. To the supporters of home-staters Wisconsin, to the excitement of Cornell and Colorado College, this Regional proved to have one fantastic finish.
