College Hockey:
Stout Tops Crookston, 5-3

Blue Devils Open Lead Early in Second Period

— It may not have been pretty, but it still counts as a tally in the win column as Wisconsin-Stout defeated Minnesota-Crookston, 5-3, Saturday at the Dunn County Ice Arena.

The Blue Devils (2-0) took four penalties in the first period, but only allowed Crookston to convert on one power play.

Stout went ahead 1-0 on Aaron Decker’s goal, then built its lead to 3-1 in the second period on goals by freshmen Nathan Legler and Derek Nichols in the first 10 minutes of the period.

USCHO cant cover the WCHA without making at least one error in an article, why not leave it up to the websites that make sure to get their facts straight before posting an article.I can understand an error here and there but EVERY TIME I read an article written by the USCHO thats about a WCHA team theres an error or two.
