Power Play Carries Hamline Over Northland

— Hamline scored five power-play goals, including including three in the third period, in a 9-2 victory over Northland Friday night.

Hamline led 5-2 after two periods, then the Pipers’ four third-period goals came in the game’s last eight minutes.

Brice Parks scored two goals for Hamline, while Troy Kleven, Aaron Welle, Perry Smiley, Peter Contardo, Donovan Meade, Brendan Roache and Steve Mahmood each had one goal.

Darrin Voskuhl and Darin Egerer had Northland’s goals.
