College Hockey:
Grover Nets Winner As Manhattanville Tops Southern Maine

— Melanie Grover’s goal midway through the second period proved to be the game-winner as Manhattanville beat Southern Maine 2-1 in the ECAC Division III quarterfinals Saturday.

Lindsey Paulsrud opened the scoring for the Valiants with a goal nearly six minutes into the game. Southern Maine’s Stacy Rudnicki tied the contest at 1-1 5:45 into the second period.

Grover’s game-winner came on assists by Annie Annunziato and Ali Annunziato.
