— Hamilton advanced to the semifinals of the NESCAC tournament with a 4-0 victory over Colby Saturday afternoon. Colby was the third seed, while Hamilton is seeded sixth.

Hamilton scored first when Mike Engert scored just 1:38 into the game on assists from Sean Smith and Andy Laskowski. Hamilton then took a 2-0 lead five minutes into the third period when Steve Aubuchon scored the first of his two goals. Smith and Vic Cizmarik assisted.

Colby pulled goalie J.D. Hadiaris with 1:15 left in the game, but Aubuchon struck again with 50 seconds left on on an assist from Rob Gordon. Then with 17 seconds remaining, Nic Potvin scored another empty-netter on assists by Cizmarik and Aubuchon.

Hamilton goalie Mike Kaufman stopped all 38 shots he faced.
