College Hockey:
McDonald Keys Lakers Past Oilers

— Mercyhurst got a pair of goals from freshman forward Sara McDonald and one each from junior Tracy Logan and freshman Lindsay Dellow to turn back Findlay 4-0 Saturday night at the Mercyhurst Ice Center.

The win improved Mercyhurst’s record to 22-7-1 and dropped Findlay to 7-19-2.

McDonald scored her 14th at 11:45 of the first, unassisted, then got help from linemates Britney Millar and Chrissy Yule on her 15th at 2:03 of the second.

Logan got her third of the year from juniors C.J. Ireland and Jenn Jeffrey at 4:38 of the third, and Dellow ended the scoring on a power-play goal at 18:21 of the final period. Jeffrey picked up her second assist of the game on Dellow’s tally.

Freshman goalie Desi Clark stopped 22 Oiler shots in posting her 11th win of the season against only two setbacks. Junior Erin Blair stopped 26 of 30 in taking her 15th loss.
