Iona Rallies to Tie Seawolves

— Iona rallied from a 2-0, third-period deficit to force a 2-2 tie with Alaska-Anchorage in the Nye Frontier Classic at Sullivan Arena on Friday.

Jamie Carroll completed the comeback, tying the game at 2 with 1 minute, 26 seconds remaining. Brent Williams had given the Gaels life by scoring with 14:17 left in the third period.

Goals from Curtis Glencross and John Hopson gave the Seawolves a 2-0 lead by scoring late in the second period and early in the third, respectively.

Ian Vigier made 31 saves for Iona. Chris King stopped 13 shots for UAA.
