Fairbanks Ties Ohio State With Late Goal

— Alaska-Fairbanks’ David Keough scored with 4 minutes, 17 seconds left in the third period to force a 1-1 tie with Ohio State on Saturday.

Dan Knapp scored for the Buckeyes (1-1-1, 1-0-1 CCHA). Mike Betz made 29 saves.

Lance Mayes stopped 42 of the 43 shots he faced for the Nanooks (1-2-1, 0-1-1).

The Buckeyes outshot the Nanooks 4-0 in overtime.
