College Hockey:Little penalty shot launches Yale’s rally past Dartmouth
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Broc Little’s penalty shot goal, his second score of the game, ignited a five-goal Yale rally in a 7-3 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday at the Ivy Shootout.
Little also scored the Bulldogs’ first goal, which tied the game at 1-1 in the first period.
Jason Bourgea put Dartmouth (1-1) ahead 1-0, and Scott Fleming scored in the second period for a 2-1 lead.
But No. 5 Yale (2-0) then went on a tear, starting with Little’s penalty shot. Denny Kearney put the Bulldogs ahead 3-2 later in the second period.
Yale’s Kevin Limbert scored twice in the third period. Brian O’Neill and Clinton Bourbonais also scored in the final period for the Bulldogs.
