Wakefield scores only goal as Boston University tops Boston College

— Jenn Wakefield’s first-period goal stood up, and Kerrin Sperry made 22 saves for Boston University in a 1-0 victory Sunday at Boston College.

Wakefield tied for the team lead with her 11th goal of the season and extended her points streak to 10 games for the Terriers (9-2-3, 3-1-3 Hockey East).

Molly Schaus made 22 saves for Boston College (8-2-4, 5-1-2), which has only one win in its last five games (1-2-2).
