Sperry posts second straight shutout as Boston University downs Northeastern

— Kerrin Sperry made 23 saves for her second straight shutout, and No. 5 Boston University beat Northeastern 3-0 on Tuesday.

Holly Lorms, Jenn Wakefield and Marie-Philip Poulin scored for the Terriers (13-2-3, 5-1-3 Hockey East).

It’s the first time Boston University has pitched two straight shutouts since Oct. 21-22, 2006, both against Vermont.

Florence Schelling made 37 saves for the Huskies (10-4-4, 3-3-3).
