College Hockey:
D’Agostino, Cornell answer late to beat No. 19 Princeton

— Andrew Calof finally got No. 19 Princeton level in the final two minutes, but Cornell’s Nick D’Agostino stole his thunder, scoring 29 seconds later for a 2-1 Big Red victory on Friday at Hobey Baker Rink.

Mike Garman made a career-best 39 saves for Cornell (5-8-1, 3-4 ECAC Hockey), which got a power-play goal from Sean Collins in the second period to take the lead.

Calof got credit for a goal off a skate with 1:48 left, but D’Agostino put in his own rebound a short time later.

Sean Bonar made 19 saves for Princeton (10-6-1, 6-4-1).
