Oleksiak’s OT goal lifts Northeastern past Massachusetts-Lowell

— Jamie Oleksiak scored in the final seconds of overtime Friday, and Northeastern beat Massachusetts-Lowell 3-2.

Oleksiak’s goal with 13.6 seconds remaining gave the Huskies their first victory of the season when trailing after two periods. Mike McLaughlin’s short-handed goal tied the game in the third.

Chris Rawlings made 37 saves for the Huskies (10-11-6, 8-8-5 Hockey East).

Michael Budd scored twice and Marc Boulanger made 31 saves for the River Hawks (4-22-2, 3-18).
