College Hockey:
Essery, St. Lawrence force Game 3 with Princeton

— Kyle Essery’s goal midway through the third period broke a 2-2 tie and helped St. Lawrence force a deciding third game of an ECAC Hockey first-round series with a 3-2 victory over Princeton on Saturday.

Greg Carey scored twice for the Saints (11-20-5), who got 28 saves from Matt Weninger.

Rob Kleebaum and Andrew Calof scored for Princeton (17-12-2).
