Irwin records three points to guide Minnesota-Duluth past Minnesota State

— Haley Irwin scored twice and added an assist to propel Minnesota-Duluth past Minnesota State, 4-2, Friday night.

Jamie Kenyon and Shara Jasper added the other goals for UMD, while Brigette Lacquette chipped in two assists.

Jennifer Harss made 24 saves between the pipes for her tenth win of the season.

For Minnesota State, Emmi Leinonen and Melissa Klippenstein scored and Alli Altmann finished with 31 saves.

The series concludes tomorrow afternoon at 3:07 p.m. CST.
