College Hockey:
Harvard’s Girard makes 24 saves to shut out Rensselaer

— Raphael Girard made 24 saves for the shutout and Jimmy Vesey scored a pair of unassisted goals in Harvard’s 4-0 victory over Rensselaer on Saturday.

Marshall Everson scored midway through the first period and freshman Brian Hart added his first collegiate goal for the Crimson (3-2, 2-2 ECAC Hockey).

Bryce Merriam made 34 saves for the Engineers (1-5-2, 0-4), who also lost 4-0 to Dartmouth on Friday.
