College Hockey:
Late power-play goals give Syracuse, RIT draw

— Akane Hosoyamada’s power-play goal with three minutes remaining gave Syracuse a 2-2 tie with Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday.

Carly Payerl gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead 1:23 earlier with a power-play goal of her own.

Allie LaCombe scored in the first period for Syracuse (5-5-1, 2-0-1 CHA) and Kim Schlattman answered in the second for RIT (4-4-2, 1-2-2).

Jessica Drinkwater made 36 saves for the Orange while Ali Binnington had 22 stops for the Tigers.
