College Hockey:
Leahy’s late goal sends Princeton past No. 8 Ohio State

— Brianna Leahy broke a tie with 3:14 remaining, and Princeton upset No. 8 Ohio State 2-1 on Saturday.

Alex Kinney scored just 14 seconds into the third period to tie the game for the Tigers (4-6-2) after Ally Tarr put the Buckeyes (11-5) ahead in the first period.

Kimberly Newell stopped a big Ohio State surge at the end of the game to finish with 33 saves.

Lisa Steffes made 21 saves for the Buckeyes.
