College Hockey:
Smelker scores twice as Rensselaer holds off Princeton

— Rensselaer held off a third-period rally to defeat Princeton 4-3 on Saturday.

Jordan Smelker tallied two goals for the Engineers, and Taylor Horton had a goal and an assist. Eleeza Cox also scored.

Princeton scored three goals in the third period, getting two goals and an assist from Kelly Cooke, and a goal and two assists from Corey Stearns.

Kelly O’Brien made 10 saves for Rensselaer, and Kimberly Newell made 19 saves for Princeton.
