Minnesota stands alone in record book after blanking Wisconsin

— Noora Raty made 25 saves, and No. 1 Minnesota beat No. 8 Wisconsin 2-0 Friday for its 33rd consecutive victory.

It put the Gophers in sole possession of the longest unbeaten streak in NCAA women’s hockey history.

Hannah Brandt and Mira Jalosuo scored first-period goals for Minnesota (25-0, 19-0 WCHA).

Alex Rigsby stopped 33 shots for the Badgers (15-8-2, 11-8-2-2).
