College Hockey:
Cooper’s late goal lifts Yale past Princeton

— Tommy Fallen tallied a goal and two assists to lead Yale to a 4-3 victory over Princeton on Saturday.

After captain Jack Berger got the Tigers on the board first, Anthony Day tied the game on a delayed penalty call and Fallen scored on the ensuing power play to give the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead.

Andrew Calof, who tallied three points on the night, netted his 12th goal of the year at 12:12 and sent the teams to the locker room tied 2-2.

After a scoreless second, the teams traded two quick goals midway through the third, as Eric Meland scored on the power play for the Tigers and Ryan Obuchowski scored for the Bulldogs 1:32 later. Yale then completed its come-from-behind victory on a goal by Carson Cooper, who netted the game winner at 18:04.

Goaltender Jeff Malcolm made 17 saves for Yale, and Mike Condon made 24 saves for Princeton.
