Noonan, Boston University go to 2-0 after beating Holy Cross

BOSTON — Garrett Noonan had a pair of assists and three Boston University players scored in a 3-2 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday.

Danny O’Regan, Nick Roberto and Cason Hohmann scored for the 19th-ranked Terriers (2-0), who got 21 saves from Matt O’Connor.

Matt Ginn stopped 24 shots, and Mike McNamara and Adam Schmidt scored for Holy Cross (0-1).
