Harvard’s Girard stops 43 in shutout win over Bentley

BOSTON — Raphael Girard stopped all 43 shots he faced and Kyle Criscuolo scored twice in Harvard’s season-opening 3-0 victory over Bentley on Saturday.

The Falcons outshot the Crimson 43-39 but Girard earned his fifth shutout in 48 collegiate games.

Tommy O’Regan opened the scoring for Harvard (1-0).

Branden Komm made 36 saves for Bentley (1-5).
