College Hockey:
Ciampini, Carr lead Union’s rally past Harvard

BOSTON — Daniel Ciampini ignited a second-period rally with a pair of goals as Union overcame Harvard 4-2 on Saturday.

Ciampini scored two goals in the first four minutes of the second period, the second score coming short-handed, to erase a 2-0 lead the Crimson built in the first.

Daniel Carr then broke the tie later in the second period for the Dutchmen (3-2-2, 2-0 ECAC Hockey), who also got an empty-net goal from Matt Hatch.

Greg Gozzo and Ryan McGregor scored for Harvard (2-1-1, 1-1-1), which got 43 saves from Steve Michalek.
