PRINCETON, N.J. — Jamie Lee Rattray tallied a goal and four assists, and Erica Howe earned a shutout to lead No. 8 Clarkson to a 7-0 victory over Princeton on Friday.

Clarkson opened the scoring just 29 seconds into the game, as Vanessa Gagnon poked home a bouncing puck in a crowded goal crease. Brittany Styner, Rattray and Corie Jacobson added first-period goals, giving Clarkson a commanding 4-0 lead at the end of the first.

The Golden Knights’ offense never let up, firing a game total of 43 shots on net and netting three more goals in the final two stanzas, as Erin Ambrose, Gagnon and Shannon MacAulay scored. Ambrose and Styner also added three assists each, for a total of four points on the night.

Erica Howe made 14 saves in the victory for Clarkson. Kimberly Newell made 36 saves for Princeton.
