Desbiens’ shutout leads Wisconsin past St. Cloud State

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Ann-Renée Desbiens improved to 8-0 with a 28-save shutout, and No. 2 Wisconsin beat St. Cloud State 4-0 on Saturday.

The Badgers ran their unbeaten streak to 16 games (14-0-2) behind a goal and an assist from Brittany Ammerman.

Sarah Nurse, Kelly Jaminski and Katy Josephs also scored for the Badgers (16-2-2, 12-2-2 WCHA).

Katie Fitzgerald made 41 saves for the Huskies (3-16-3, 2-12-2).
