Minnesota gets goals from five players to topple Penn State

MINNEAPOLIS — No. 2 Minnesota scored five unanswered goals to beat Penn State 5-1 on Friday.

After Kenny Brooks put the Nittany Lions ahead 3:12 into the game, the Golden Gophers scored three times in the first period and twice in the second.

Sam Warning, Hudson Fasching, Kyle Rau, Taylor Cammarata and Nate Condon scored for Minnesota, which got 30 saves from Adam Wilcox.

Matthew Skoff stopped 31 shots for Penn State.
