College Hockey:
Week II picks: Thursday edition

No. 13 Minnesota Duluth (1-1) at No. 9 Notre Dame (2-0), Thursday-Friday

Joe: The Bulldogs were called out by coach Scott Sandelin. They will respond. Senior Mike Seidel started off at the pace (three goals) UMD needs. The Irish looked pretty good at the Icebreaker, but the Bulldogs should garner a split.

Tyler: Forced to play Thursday-Friday by Notre Dame’s home football game Saturday, the 2-0 Irish are back at home after winning the neutral-site Ice Breaker Tournament but UMD’s special teams (PP: 5-for-14, PK: 12-for-13) will help the Bulldogs pull out a split.
