USCHO.com Announces Third Annual Town Meeting At Frozen Four

For the third consecutive year, USCHO.com is sponsoring a Town Meeting to entertain and inform college hockey fans during the festivities at the NCAA Frozen Four.

This year’s USCHO.com Town Meeting topic is “The Evolution of the NCAA Division I Men’s Tournament,” and the panel will include the NCAA’s Director of Championships Tom Jacobs, NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Committee Chairman and Massachusetts Athletic Director Ian McCaw, Michigan State Athletic Director and NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Committee member Ron Mason and other members of the Committee.

The Town Meeting takes place this year at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, April 11, 2002 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo Ballroom, just prior to the presentation of the Hockey Humanitarian Award and the Hobey Baker Award.

The format will be the same as in previous years, as USCHO.com’s general manager Jayson Moy will preside over a question and answer session where fans will be able to interact directly with the panel.

“Our goal is to bring the fans closer to the world of college hockey,” said Moy. “The last two years have been a huge success, and I expect this year will be even better.”

The first annual USCHO.com Town Meeting was held at the Frozen Four in Albany, N.Y., in 2001 and last year’s second annual Town Meeting took place in St. Paul, Minn. Last year the event was attended by hundreds of fans, and featured all six of the Division I Ice Hockey Commissioners as they discussed “The State of College Hockey.”
