Boston College a unanimous No. 1 in D-I men’s poll

Boston College received all 50 first-place votes in this week’s USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll and retains the No. 1 ranking.

Denver leapfrogs Minnesota to sit second in the poll, while Miami jumps one spot to No. 4 and New Hampshire rises four places to enter the top five.

North Dakota remains sixth, Union is up one to No. 7, trading places with Notre Dame, while Western Michigan moves up a spot to No. 9 and Cornell tumbles from No. 4 last week to No. 10 this week.

At No. 11, Boston University holds steady, Dartmouth enters the rankings at No. 12, Michigan falls one to No. 13, Colorado College jumps five notches to sit 14th this week and St. Cloud State remains the 15th-ranked team in the nation.

St. Lawrence falls three places to No. 16, Harvard drops three spots to No. 17, Nebraska-Omaha is back in the rankings at No. 18, Northern Michigan falls three spots to sit 19th and Ferris State rounds out the top 20, falling two places from last week.

The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.
