Oswego women’s assistant Walkland leaves for same position at Robert Morris

Robert Morris announced Friday the hiring of Chelsea Walkland as an assistant women’s coach.

Walkland spent the past two seasons as the top assistant coach at Oswego.

“We are very excited to have Chelsea join the staff here at RMU,” said Colonials’ head coach Paul Colontino in a statement. “As a returning alumna of the women’s hockey program, Chelsea not only brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching women’s hockey, but a true passion for RMU hockey and the RMU community as a whole.”

Walkland played for the Colonials from 2006 to 2010, serving as an assistant captain during her junior and senior seasons.
